“When I grow up, I Wanna be a Rock Star!”
This is my all-time favorite band, Grand Funk Railroad. The big 3 with Mark, Don & Mel. I took this in 1997 at their Washington, DC show. I first heard of GFR when I was a kid. I got a Screaming Red Electric Guitar for Christmas when I was twelve. I wanted to be a Rock Star.
But, I am not. At least not like this. I was able to see GFR live when I was in high school and again 8 more times when they started touring again in the 90’s.
